I read somewhere that in Windows, fans are controlled through BIOS (seems accurate), and in OS X it's controlled by software, which is why I guess I'm not able to control my fan at all. Now I'm wondering how to add / modify the SMC keys so that my fan is properly detected, and I assume once it's properly
